ISTANBUL - FULL DAY SIGHTSEEING TOUR
Breakfast at hotel, departure around 08:20 a.m. and tour of "Sultan Ahmet Center", the heart of the "Old City" from where the Byzantine and Ottoman Empires were ruled. Hagia Sophia (closed on Monday), one of the greatest marvels of architecture, constructed as a basilica in the 6th century by Emperor Justinian. Blue Mosque, facing Hagia Sophia, famous with its blue Iznik tiles and unique with 6 minarets, built in the name of Sultan Ahmet. Hippodrome and Obelisks, The square in front of the Blue Mosque covers the site of the ancient "Hippodrome", one of the most famous areas in Byzantine. Grand Covered Bazaar “Kapali Carsi” (closed on Sunday) The oldest and the largest covered market place in the world is situated in the center of the city. After visiting the Grand Bazaar, there will be optional shopping opportunity.
